The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has announced that, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police - Regional Directorate in Prizren, it has launched investigations regarding the recount process of voting results at the Municipal Counting Center in Suhareka.
The investigations were initiated on the Prosecutor's Office's own initiative, with the authorization of Chief Prosecutor Petrit Kryeziu.
The Prosecution is undertaking investigative actions in the Municipality of Suhareka on suspicions related to the violation of voting rights, as provided for in Chapter XVIII of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the Prosecution, an additional statement will be issued during the day with information on further investigative actions and developments, after the suspects have been interviewed by the police. /Telegraph/
