The Supreme Court of Kosovo has approved the request of the KDI to annul part of the Regulation on compensation for official travel.

This was announced through an announcement on the KDI's Facebook social network.

Among other things, the announcement states that a group of Kosovo Security Force soldiers have turned to KDI to seek legal assistance because they were not being compensated for trips abroad when they served for more than a month.

"After reviewing the case, #KDI has found that the current regulation placed them in an unfair position. The Supreme Court has now confirmed this, confirming that the regulation exceeded the law and needed to be changed. This decision is an important step for justice and fair treatment of our soldiers, and a testament to the impact that citizen reporting and our work for accountability can have," the announcement says. /Telegrafi/
