On Sunday at midnight, the legal deadline for political entities to submit lists with the names of candidates for deputies, to be certified for participation in the extraordinary elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, ended.

This was confirmed to Telegrafi by the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi.


"The process of submitting the lists has developed normally and within the foreseen deadlines," Elezi declared.

Elezi emphasized that after submitting the lists, the process moves to the verification phase of candidates in the relevant institutions.

"The CEC, through the Office, will submit verification requests to several institutions to ensure that candidates are in compliance with Article 30 of the Law on General Elections," he said.
