Strong earthquake in Taiwan, first footage captures dramatic moment

A magnitude 7 earthquake struck an area about 32 kilometers off the northeastern coast of Taiwan.
It was the second major earthquake to hit the island this week, following a 6.1-magnitude quake that struck the southeastern coastal district of Taitung on Wednesday.
Taiwan is located near the intersection of two tectonic plates and is prone to earthquakes.
More than 100 people died in an earthquake in southern Taiwan in 2016, while a 7.3-magnitude earthquake in 1999 killed more than 2,000 people.
Now, footage of the latest earthquake has begun to circulate.
According to information, there were no injuries from the earthquake and no major material damage was caused. /Telegraph/
