Spiropali meets with Grenell: We reconfirmed Albania's unwavering alliance with the US

As part of the High-Level Week of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, held an important meeting with Richard Grenell, the Special Envoy of the US President, Donald Trump, for Special Missions and the Acting Executive Director of the "John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts" in Washington.
The meeting, which was also attended by President Bajram Begaj and foreign ministers from the region, served to reaffirm the strong strategic alliance between Albania and the United States, as well as to discuss strengthening economic and political cooperation.
Minister Spiropali emphasized the importance of this meeting, underlining that "strengthening relations remains a top priority for the Albanian government as we continue to work together to deepen economic cooperation."
She added that during the discussions, "Albania's unwavering alliance with the United States - as our main strategic objective" was reaffirmed.
The meeting between Spiropali and Grenell took place in New York during an intense period of diplomatic engagements at the UN General Assembly, where world leaders are discussing global issues such as peace, security and sustainable development./RTSH
