After the spectacular 5-0 victory over Cremonese in the 20th week of Serie A, Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti stressed that his team is still not at the level of Inter and Napoli, noting that there is much to improve to compete at the top of the championship.

Juventus took the opportunity to close the gap on their rivals, scoring through Bremer, Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz, Weston McKennie and Filippo Terracciano (own goal), to record a comprehensive victory over Davide Nicolas' team.

"I watched Inter-Napoli and they showed football at a high level, with open play and character, reflecting the ideas of their coaches. We have to improve a lot to get closer to this level," Spalletti declared after the match.

Spalletti also commented on the controversial decisions of the referee and VAR, saying that in his opinion none of the penalties awarded during the match should have been taken, but admitted that his team had controlled the game.

With this victory, Juventus rises to 39 points, level with Napoli and Roma, but still has fewer matches played, while the next match will be against Antonio Conte's Napoli.

Since taking charge in November, Spalletti has collected 24 points in Serie A with seven wins, one less than leaders Inter, showing noticeable improvements, but he stresses that to reach the level of Inter and Napoli, Juventus still have some way to go.

Spalletti is focused on the players' performance and the team's improvement, ruling out the possibility of renewing his contract, which expires on June 30, 2026.

"These players are strong and fast, and they will help us make the necessary improvements to compete with the best teams in Serie A, such as Napoli and Inter," he underlined. /Telegraph/
