Shpëtim Babaj tells how at a young age he had offers from Empoli and Fiorentina
Shpëtim Babaj was the next guest on the podcast produced by Telegrafi, "Arena e Yjeve".
The former footballer has revealed how at a young age he received offers from two Serie A clubs, Empoli and Fiorentina.
"There was a lot of interest in me at the time, I was very young, I was playing for Croatia U-17 at the time," Babaj initially confessed.
"From there I went by ferry, where they were waiting for me in Ancona. I had the ship at 21:00 PM from Split."
"When they came, they said it wasn't Salvation, they called the coach and told him it wasn't Salvation."
"The team had already noticed that I wasn't there, but I was already in Italy...", the former footballer further revealed.
