Shocking footage shows Israeli settlers beating an elderly Palestinian

Footage shows dozens of masked and armed Israeli settlers beating an elderly Palestinian man in the occupied West Bank.
Security camera footage released by the Associated Press showed the men, dressed mostly in black, punching and kicking the man after he fell to the ground during an attack in the village of Deir Sharaf.
Others fled after seeing the settlers approaching, but 67-year-old Basim Saleh Yassin is deaf and could not hear the warnings to leave, according to witnesses to the attack, writes sky news.
The video shows Mr Yassin trying to get away from the group before falling to the floor.
One man kicks him while he is kneeling on the ground, while another beats him repeatedly with what appears to be a stick.

Otherwise, this is the latest attack amid increasing violence by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
The attacks increased during the olive harvest season in October and early November and have continued since then.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called the perpetrators of the crime "a handful of extremists" and has asked law enforcement to prosecute them for "attempting to take the law into their own hands."
However, human rights groups and Palestinians have argued that the problem is much broader and attacks have become daily occurrences across the territory. /Telegraph/
