Shehtanski: Incorrect information is being spread about the "Pulse" case, the prosecution is also responsible

With a series of remarks about the work of the Prosecution, the defense of the market inspectors, at the hearing on the Koçan fire case, harshly criticized the legal construction of the indictment and the way in which, as the lawyers stated, incorrect information is being disseminated to the public regarding institutional responsibility and the legal status of the facility in which several people died.
Some of the lawyers also attacked the Prosecution Office, emphasizing that if a causal relationship is required between the system and all institutions, responsibility should also fall on the Prosecution Office itself, which, after all, is the one that should have the first reaction if there were any illegality at the facility.
In his opening statement at today's hearing on the Kocani fire case, lawyer Vanco Shehtanski, defense attorney for former market inspector Mille Ampov, made a series of remarks regarding the work of the Prosecution and the way in which, as he said, incorrect information is being spread regarding institutional responsibility and the status of the facility.
Shehtanski criticized the Prosecutor's Office for its inaction after initial knowledge of possible irregularities.
"After the information heard, the Prosecution should have the initial reaction if there was any illegality in the facility. Why, prosecutor, instead of looking for a cause-and-effect relationship with other institutions, did you simply not react after some information was heard, and this tragedy on March 16 would not have happened. Don't manipulate people. What do you think, how are the families of the accused, who are thought to be "murderers"? At least in this case, the truth should not be hidden, while it is being hidden," said Shehtanski. /Telegrafi/
