She picked the wrong person to steal her phone in London, the American athlete goes after him and catches the thief

A phone thief chose the wrong target after stealing a cellphone from an athlete while she was filming a TikTok in London.
Elizabeth Lopez Aguilar, 24, was filming in front of the London Eye while on holiday in the British capital when a man grabbed her phone right from her eyes, reports the Telegraph.
The girl from Texas was in London celebrating her boyfriend's birthday, and they were planning to see Hercules in the West End that evening.
Aguilar was on Victoria Embankment when the robbery took place. She had placed her phone a few metres in front of her and had started talking to the camera when the thief grabbed the phone while it was still recording.
But the thief had no idea that he had just targeted a track and field athlete, specializing in fast and long-distance running.
Within minutes, Aguilar and her boyfriend, Abraham Tahtou, followed her and took the phone.
Ajon competes in sprint races and long-distance Olympic triathlons and is currently training for an Ironman.
"I really think the thief had no idea who he was messing with," Aguilar said.
"I immediately started chasing him and didn't stop until the boy was caught. At first I laughed because I thought it was my boyfriend playing a joke. But then I realized it was true. I was shocked, but I immediately lit up quickly," she added.
Tahtou also joined the chase and together they managed to catch the thief and retrieve the phone.
However, the couple decided not to call the police, leaving the phone thief free to roam the streets. /Telegraph/
