Shabani: My mandate is over, the Prime Minister has the keys

Today, the doors of the Vrapçisht municipality were closed. The workers who came to their offices in the morning had no information about what was happening.
Some of them said over the phone that the doors had been closed by the former mayor, Isen Shabani.
The latter says that his mandate ended yesterday and that he no longer has a reason to stay in the municipality.
"Yesterday, November 9, my mandate ended. Today is the tenth and you should ask the Government, or the Government's trusted person, about this. He should have been in office from today, and of course the responsibility lies with the Government and the Government's trusted person as to why the door is closed. My mandate ended yesterday and today I am a free citizen," said Isen Shabani, former mayor of Vrapçisht.
He has no intention of opening the doors of the municipality, and when asked if he would hand over the keys to the person designated by the Government, he stated that the Prime Minister has the keys and he is the one who should hand them over. He also greeted the Government and said that he is ready to cooperate with them in any way.
"Let me go to the prime minister, he will give him the key. This will remain with us, because I do not hand over the mandate. If I had lost the elections, I would have waited for him in my office and according to the norms, I would have handed over the mandate. But in this situation and these turbulences or dirty games that the well-thought-out and orchestrated partners VALEN and OBRM-PDUKM are trying to play, we will face it, we are here at all times", stated Isen Shabani, former mayor of Vrapçisht.
Otherwise, in the municipality of Vrapçisht, the first round of local elections failed due to the failure to take the necessary census. The elections are expected to take place in 60 days, and during this period the municipality is expected to be led by a trusted person appointed by the Prime Minister, which is expected to happen next week. /TV21/
