A serious incident was recorded today in Peja, where a student attacked his teacher at a preschool institution, causing bodily injuries.
The news was confirmed to the Telegraph by the Kosovo Police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi, who said that the incident occurred at around 10:40.
"Today at around 10:40, the police were notified that in a kindergarten in Peja, a student hit his teacher with a metal rod, causing bodily injuries. The victim was sent for medical treatment to the Emergency Department of Peja Hospital," Gashi told Telegraf.
He added that the relevant Kosovo Police units, as well as the state prosecutor, have arrived at the scene and are conducting a full investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
Meanwhile, sources report that the incident occurred at the "Pëllumbat e Paqes" kindergarten in Peja, while the age of the child involved in the incident is reported to be around 7 years old.
