Serious incident in Vlora, woman dies after allegedly falling off bicycle

Through a statement, the police provide details of the serious incident.

"Today, at around 11:30, in the "Pavarësia 2" neighborhood, on the boulevard, in front of the stadium, a female citizen around 50 years old is suspected of having fallen and crashed into the sidewalk as a result of strong winds, passing away."

"The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case, as well as to identify the victim," the police announced.

Following the serious incident that occurred this Thursday in the city of Vlora, where a woman aged around 50 accidentally lost her life due to strong winds, a witness spoke in a statement to the media.

The witness to this event is a woman, who has told how the 50-year-old woman fell and lost her life.

"There were two of those who were sweeping the streets, those from the municipality, a man and a woman, they were with a cart that even the wind took away their tent, it broke them, and I was there. I was from behind and I told them to go away. Meanwhile, when I went to the agency, she fell. She was taken away by the wind, she was on a bicycle and her head hit the curb, she didn't get in the way. The curb wasn't an obstacle, they were put there because they are beautiful," she said.
