A 53-year-old woman has died as a result of today's accident on the Mitrovica - Zubin Potok national road in the village of Koshtovë.
The news was confirmed by the police spokesman for the Mitrovica region, Avni Zahiti, who said that two vehicles were involved in this accident.
Zahiti announced that by order of the prosecutor, the victim's body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
"Fatal traffic accident South Mitrovica, December 04, 2025 Today, at around 15:00, on the national road Mitrovica-Zubin Potok, in the road segment in the village of Koshtove, a fatal traffic accident occurred. Two vehicles were involved in the accident, where in addition to material damage, the driver of one of the vehicles suffered serious injuries, who was sent for medical treatment to the South Mitrovica Regional Hospital."
"Around 16:20, the medical authorities of the Mitrovica Regional Hospital announced that the injured driver of the car, about 53 years old, has died as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident.
