A serious traffic accident occurred today at around 13:00 PM on the 7th kilometer of the "Ibrahim Rugova" Highway, in the Prizren - Morinë direction.
According to the Kosovo Police, a VW Tiguan and a Mercedes truck were involved in the accident.
As a result of the collision, one passenger lost her life, while two other people suffered injuries.
"A passenger (female) did not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead by the attending physician at the scene," the police statement to the Telegraph states.
The competent police units and the prosecutor in charge arrived at the scene, on whose orders the body was sent for autopsy.
Investigations regarding the causes of the accident and other circumstances are being conducted by investigative units.
The police have called for increased vigilance in traffic and respect for road rules, in order to avoid tragic cases. /Telegraph/
