Serious accident in Fushë-Prezë, four young people burn inside the car - it is suspected that they collided with a concrete mixer

A serious accident occurred on the Fushë Prezë axis (Tirana district) during the late hours of Wednesday.  

A vehicle collided with a concrete mixer, resulting in the deaths of four people, reports euronews.al

As a result of the severe collision, the car that collided with the concrete mixer burst into flames and the four people inside were burned.

Firefighters from Kamza also arrived at the scene, but the fatal incident could not be avoided.

Police notification

On 19.03.2025, at around 23:50, in Fushë-Prezë, the traffic service found a vehicle that had caught fire and a concrete mixer truck was standing in front of it.

The investigations conducted revealed that the vehicle was driven by citizen EL, 25 years old, and is suspected of having collided with the concrete mixer vehicle driven by citizen AK, 24 years old, who had fled the scene after the accident.

As a result of the collision and the vehicle being engulfed in flames, the driver of the vehicle, EL, 25 years old, and the 3 passengers in his vehicle, EL, 20 years old, EK, 24 years old, and AL, 22 years old, died.

Following the actions, the driver of the concrete mixer vehicle, citizen A. K, 24 years old, was escorted for further action.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigations continue with the aim of fully documenting the event. /Telegrafi/
