A tragic accident occurred this morning in Kukës, where a 51-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a vehicle.
According to official information, the victim, identified as Sadik Murtafi, was riding a tricycle when he was hit by a car. After the accident, he was rushed to the hospital, but could not survive the injuries he sustained.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man with the initials AB, is suspected of losing control of the car, causing the fatal collision.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
