Serbian Minister Directs Protesters to Persecution of Albanian Family in Surdulica

A protest caused by a traffic accident, in which a man from Surdulica lost his life, turned into a chauvinistic persecution of an Albanian family.
Newspaper "Time"learns that Serbia's minister without portfolio, Novica Tonchev, has also influenced this situation.
Calls for lynching and eviction, throwing stones at a pastry shop. These things have been happening these days in Surdulica since a man of Serbian nationality (40 years old) was killed in a traffic accident.
The accident, which occurred on Monday, February 9, involved a Mercedes driver (20 years old), of Albanian nationality, against whom a campaign is now being waged against his family.
In a Viber group called "Justice for Rastka", which currently has almost six thousand members, calls are being distributed for the expulsion of the Albanian family from Surdulica and protests are being organized.
And this, with the support of a minister without portfolio who wrote in the group that "he is with his people from Surdulica, because he lives there."
The police administration in Surdulica has invited several protest participants for informational interviews, but it is not known whether anyone has been arrested.
However, despite the violent demonstrations, the young man who was involved in the accident is in custody. /Telegraph/
