The wife of the late singer, Shpat Kasapi, Selvije Jao, has reacted publicly through a post on Instagram, where she has provided an important clarification regarding custody and support for their son, Roelin.
In her statement, she emphasizes that she is the sole legal guardian of her son and that her absolute priority is his well-being.
Jao also announced that this reaction comes for reasons of transparency, thanking all those who have offered support, but at the same time clarifying that any help should be addressed in a regular manner and only in Roel's name.

"I make this statement for the sole reason of emphasizing that I am Roel's sole legal guardian.
Even though he misses his father and will miss him for the rest of his life, as a mother, I have an absolute priority to take care of him in every possible way, as long as I have strength and life.
For transparency and to know who to thank, I'm sharing this publicly.
I don't want any support to go without being thanked on my part, but I also don't want anyone to benefit on Roel's behalf, since Roel has the personal bank account.
