Sejdiu: Murat Jashari's denial of candidacy collapsed Kurti's "tower of paper"

Murat Jashari's name has recently been discussed in the public opinion as one of the possible candidates for the post of president of Kosovo. However, he has publicly denied that he has any ambitions to take the position of head of state.
Regarding this development, political analyst Dardan Sejdiu reacted, saying that Jashari's statement has overthrown a narrative that, according to him, was being built by Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Speaking on the Rubikon show on Klan Kosova, Sejdiu assessed that the Jashari family has traditionally shown prudence by not getting involved in political discussions, but this time Murat Jashari's reaction came due to the intensity of the public debate.
"The Jashari family has done this job extremely well, with a great maturity that has never entered into these discussions. But this time the intensity of the discussion was so great, the coming crisis so great and the public pressure so great, that Mr. Jashari, in the premises of the University of Pristina, when asked by a journalist who insisted on an answer, gave a statement that in one form or another demolishes a 'tower of paper' that Mr. Kurti is trying to build," said Sejdiu.
Recently, several names have been mentioned on the political scene in Kosovo as possible presidential candidates, while discussions have intensified due to political developments and the debate over the election of the head of state.
