Saliba is asked if he is the best center-back in the world, surprises with his answer
William Saliba is going through another season showing excellent form.
The French center-back is considered one of the best in the world and he has been asked where he rates himself.
Saliba believes it is premature to call him the best centre-back in the world, although he hopes to get there one day.
"I think I'm one of the best, but still not the best defender in the world. I can become a lot better one day, I hope to improve," the Arsenal star told Telefoot.
Saliba has been hailed as part of one of the best centre-back partnerships with Gabriel Magalhaes.
However, the Frenchman has made several mistakes in recent weeks, including a misplaced pass that led to Crystal Palace's equaliser a few days ago.
The player is on Real Madrid's wish list, however it seems unlikely that Arsenal will allow him to leave. /Telegraph/
