The Director of the Government's General and Joint Affairs Service (SHPPP), Ivica Tomovski, announces that the new red license plates for official vehicles were tested through the "Safe City" system before their introduction, after which their processing began.

Tomovski tells "Sitel" that they have noticed a problem, messages about violations recorded by the "Safe City" camera system are reaching the leasing companies from which the Government purchased the vehicles, therefore some of the fines are passed through them to the SHPPP.

"I believe that the person who committed the violation should pay, not the company," he said, announcing that legal changes are possible.

Regarding the possible introduction of a GPS system for satellite tracking in official vehicles, Tomovski said that they will wait to see if it will be necessary, after analyzing the results of "Safe City". /Telegraph/
