Several released images reportedly show the moment the driver of an SUV escaped from his car before the vehicle was hit by a Utah Transit Authority (UTA) passenger train in Layton, Utah, last week.
The footage reportedly shows the train passing across the tracks towards a railway crossing, reports the Telegraph.
As the train approached the crossing, a white vehicle could be seen partially blocking the track.
And then the driver of the car is seen driving away.
Unable to stop in time, the locomotive collided with the car and a loud bang was heard from inside the train. /Telegraph/
