Rrahmani: LVV and Kurti attempted to politically eliminate Osman for complete control of power

MP from the PDK Parliamentary Group, Eman Rrahmani, has stated that President Vjosa Osmani's decision to dissolve the Parliament was right, as according to him, the constitutional deadlines for electing the president have been exceeded.
On the FIVE show, Rrahmani emphasized that the decision now belongs to the citizens to elect a new legislature that will resolve the issue of the president.
"It was a fair decision, as the constitutional deadlines for electing the president have passed. Now it is up to the people to decide on a legislature that will resolve the issue of the president, as this legislature has had neither the will nor the opportunity to elect a figure who would be representative and unifying for the country," he declared.
Rrahmani stressed that the government had the numbers to propose two candidates for president. He accused the Vetevendosje Movement and Prime Minister Albin Kurti of attempting to put the opposition before a committed act.
"In my opinion, the government had 66 votes with which it could have nominated two candidates, but the candidates were used to pressure and blackmail opposition MPs to force them to vote for one of them for president," Rrahmani declared.
He added that Vetëvendosje did not want to go to the elections and calculated that the opposition would not dare to accept a new electoral process.
"LVV and Albin Kurti were convinced that the opposition did not dare to go to the elections and that they would vote for whoever they proposed for president," he emphasized.
Rrahmani also stated that recent developments, according to him, have shown an attempt to politically eliminate President Osmani and for Vetëvendosje to take full control of power.
"The recent appearance, especially with the non-candidate or attempted political elimination of Vjosa Osmani, has revealed the intention for complete control of power by LVV and Albin Kurti. I believe that it would be correct that during the campaign they would show that Vjosa Osmani will not be president and will not support her. I am convinced that LVV did not want to go to the elections, they were convinced that the opposition did not have the courage to go to the elections and would vote for even Dimal Basha to decide for president, whoever they had proposed they were convinced that would be voted for president", he declared. /Tv Dukagjini/
