Rooney disappointed with Arsenal fans, says they could have made the team win

Arsenal lost the first leg of the semi-final to Paris Saint Germain with a score of 0-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners were not in their element and failed to equalize despite their great efforts.

England legend Wayne Rooney has said he was also disappointed with Arsenal fans, who did not push the team to do better at any point, like they did against Real Madrid.

"For Arsenal, I was a little disappointed with the way they played, disappointed with the fans too. The fans against Real Madrid really pushed the team. I thought they were a little restrained tonight," Rooney said.

Despite this setback, Rooney hopes Arsenal can reach the final and win the Champions League.

"I hope Arsenal can go on and win the game, but they have to go into the second leg with confidence. They have to be patient, slow down the game, get the ball at the right time and be serious," Rooney said. /Telegraph/
