Ronaldo only 9th: Toni Kroos names the 10 best free kick takers of all time
Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos was asked to rank his top 10 free kick takers in football history.
In a recent interview for 433, the German midfielder was given the option to rank the proposed players from 1 to 10.
He surprised the interviewer by leaving himself in 10th position, remaining extremely humble despite scoring some memorable goals in his career.
Kroos then went on to nominate his former Real Madrid teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, in 9th place.
Ronaldo was ranked below the likes of Wesley Sneijder, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi.
Kroos chose Zinedine Zidane for fourth place in this ranking and ended up naming Roberto Carlos as the best free-kick taker in his opinion. /Telegraph/
