Ronaldo would agree to stay on the bench at Portugal, but only on one condition
Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is ready for Portugal's return match against Denmark.
The Portuguese lost the first leg 1-0 away to the Danes in the quarterfinals of the Nations League.
Ronaldo has once again stressed that it has nothing to do with whether he scores or not and if he doesn't play and Portugal wins, he would sign for that to happen.
"I focus only on defending the symbol of my country until I die, as always," declared the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
"I would be happy if we win tomorrow and another teammate scores! It's NOT about my goals."
"It's not about me whether I score or not. I just want Portugal to win. If we win and I don't play, I'll sign it," Ronaldo added.
If Portugal eliminates Denmark tomorrow (March 23), then in the semi-finals they will face the winner of the other duel between Italy and Germany. /Telegraph/
