Ronaldo Nazario's wife calls Brazil 'a disgusting country' after football legend withdraws from election
Just a week ago, Ronaldo Nazario was forced to withdraw his candidacy for the presidential race of the Brazilian Football Federation.
Now his wife Celina has come out to label Brazil "a disgusting country" while declaring that "corruption continues unabated" in the country.
Ronaldo had presented himself to run for the Brazilian Federation presidential elections in December 2024.
However, on March 13, he withdrew from the race, citing roadblocks by the people in charge.
"During my initial contact with the 27 regional federations, I found 23 closed doors. While most directors believe that Brazilian football is in good hands, it doesn't matter what I think," Ronaldo had said.
