Rio Ferdinand names four players who don't have the capacity to play under Amorim

Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League after three games, as they narrowly defeated Ipswich Town 3-2.

However, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has made an interesting statement that four Red Devils players have no chance of succeeding under Ruben Amorim.

"I watched Sporting a few times, especially in Europe. They were an athletic, dynamic team. That was one of the main elements of that team, the hallmarks of that good team that was winning things," Ferdinand explained.

"This Manchester United team is not a mobile and dynamic team," Ferdinand declared.

The English legend has said that there are four players like Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire and Rasmus Hojlund who cannot succeed under Ruben Amorim.

"If you look at the heartbeat of this team, they have other qualities, but being physical, having the ability to overcome teams physically - they don't have that capacity."

"No, Zirkzee, De Ligt, Maguire, Hojlund, it's not their game. So I think he has to find those kind of players with the ability to not only tactically do what he wants, but the physicality is just as important," the English legend declared.

Amorimi's insistence on a switch to a 3-4-3 system means United will have to be active in the transfer market again this summer. /Telegraph/
