Rifat Kasapolli, one of the founders of tennis in Peja, passes away

Peja has lost one of its most important sports figures. Rifat Kasapolli, one of the founders of the Peja Tennis Club, has passed away, leaving behind a precious legacy in Kosovar sports.
Kasapolli was part of the generation that founded the club in 1992, during a difficult period for sports in the country.
With his dedication as a founder, coach and referee, he contributed to transforming Peja into one of the main tennis centers in Kosovo, educating and inspiring entire generations of athletes.

The news of his passing has deeply affected the sports community and the citizens of Peja, who remember him as a wise, honest and dedicated man to sports.
In its condolence telegram, the Peja Tennis Club emphasized that his loss is great not only for his family and friends, but for the entire community and for all of Kosovo tennis.
