Kosovo has begun accepting immigrants deported from the United States who are not originally from Kosovo, acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said late Thursday.

Kosovo accepted a request from President Donald Trump's administration to initially accept 50 deportees.

"We are accepting those that the US did not want on its territory," Kurti told Kanal10 television, writes Reuters.

He did not give details of which countries they were from and said only one or two migrants have arrived so far.
