"Resistance until Rama leaves!" - these are the two names that Lapaj proposes for the transitional government

The leader of the "Albania Becomes" movement, Adriatik Lapaj, stated that he does not expect any reflection from Prime Minister Edi Rama, but aims to raise awareness among citizens through the protest as a form of resistance until the realization of the right. In a statement to A2 CNN with journalist Fjorela Beleshi, Lapaj said that the protest should continue with dignity, criticizing the authorities for not allowing the tents to be erected and describing this as a lack of humanity.
"I do not expect any reflection from Rama. What I expect is to make people aware by setting an example that protest is resistance until justice is achieved. Tents should be put up because the wind blows them away. I feel bad that they leave us with plastic and not with tents. This is a marked lack of humanity," Lapaj told A2 CNN.
Asked how they can overthrow Prime Minister Rama, who has 83 mandates, Lapaj replied that mandates are only valuable when they are based on morality and civic trust, while the argument of a parliamentary majority is invalid if the government is caught in violations and corruption.
"Mandates have value when they have morality. I doubt they were obtained in a fair manner; if they are not morally justified, mandates have no value. They have power as long as morality stands. The facts show that there is no morality because he was caught red-handed stealing at all levels. The argument of 83 mandates is invalid. Form a transitional government, suspend all directors so that they do not give money from the administration for the elections," Lapaj continued for A2 CNN.
He emphasized that since 2022 there has been a deterioration in citizens' rights and that fear is installed in society, so protests with a political essence are necessary.
"From 2022 there is a deterioration of citizens' rights and people are afraid. Protests that have a political essence are protests that scare them because they are related to the existence of power. This is evidence of the fear of society and our numbers have been increasing. But even if one person protests," Lapaj told A2 CNN.
According to him, the solution is to create a transitional government, stop the pressure on the administration, and unite citizens beyond party flags. He mentioned the names of Përparim Kabos and Tritan Kalo for the creation of the transitional government.
"It is not time to raise the party flag but to unite for the flag of Albania. No political party can defeat Rama's regime. By standing up and raising awareness among citizens. The square unites us for anyone who comes with the national flag. Berisha should enter the season of life and leave the squares to the boys and girls of the DP. No politician should be in the transitional government. Progress Kabo and Tritan Kalo should take national responsibility in this important phase."
