Residents of Horsham Close in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, are complaining about the poor condition of the road, which has not been repaired for more than 40 years.

Ian and Elaine Bowyer said the road has never been paved since they lived there.

The local council has told them that, according to the latest ALARM report, the average road repair cycle is 103 years.

Other residents call the situation dangerous, as potholes and asphalt damage make driving difficult.

Councillor Andrew Crichton admitted that the road is in urgent need of maintenance. /Telegraph/
