Lawyer Adrianit Ibrahimi spoke about the repeal of the law on the confiscation of unjustified assets by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
He stated that the repeal of this law was expected by him.
"For me it was expected, I believe it was also expected for the legal community. The fact that the Court has not been released from reviewing the merits of the law or the substantive provisions, I believe will cause consequences in the future," Ibrahimi said on RTV Dukagjini.
He added that, according to him, the Constitutional Court left the process half-way, despite the fact that the decision to repeal the draft law was rightly taken due to procedural violations.
"So, I consider that the Constitutional Court has left its work unfinished, despite rightly repealing the draft law due to procedural errors," he stated.
