Remove oil stains from clothes with two household ingredients

Cleaning expert Chantel Mila, known on TikTok as Mama Mila, has shared a practical method for removing oil stains from clothes – both old and new – without the need for intense scrubbing.

Oil stains are particularly difficult to remove due to their water-resistant properties, as oil does not dissolve in water.

This makes them resistant to many water-based cleaners and can penetrate deep into the fibers of the fabric.

However, there's no reason to worry, as Chantel has shared a simple method with just two ingredients that helps effectively remove stains.

Ingredients: Dishwashing liquid (detergent) and baking soda.

What should you do?

Place a plate or hard surface behind the stained area;

Apply a small amount of liquid to the stain and then add baking soda to the amount of detergent;

Leave for 10 minutes for the mixture to work and penetrate the fabric.

If you want, you can use a small brush to rub the stain into the garment. After 10 minutes, wash the garment as usual in the washing machine. /Telegraph/
