Real Madrid will make concrete efforts to transfer Arsenal star

Real Madrid are clear that a new center back needs to be transferred in the coming years and a world-class player is being sought. 

One of their main targets for this position is Arsenal's William Saliba, who is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world in his position. 

The center of defense has been a position that has caused concern for Real Madrid in recent seasons, especially after the injury problems of Eder Militao and David Alaba. 

Despite this, the latter and Antonio Rudiger are heading towards the end of their respective careers, so they will need to be replaced.

Real Madrid have planned to enter the transfer market this summer, but the emergence of Raul Asensio means that signing a centre-back is no longer a priority for 2025. 

However, it is a position that needs to be strengthened in the near future and Saliba remains high on their wish list. 

Despite the fact that Saliba has reiterated his commitment to Arsenal in recent weeks, Relief reports that Real Madrid will make 'concrete efforts' to transfer the French international, although there is no exact date on when this will happen. 

Saliba's departure from London is not an option that Arsenal are considering, so it would take a huge amount of money for the Gunners to be willing to let him embark on a new adventure.Telegraph/
