Real Madrid's leaders have not yet ruled out the possibility of bringing together two of the greatest strikers in world football, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, on the same team in the future.
According to French newspaper reports The Team, everything could depend on the decision that Vinicius Junior will make about renewing his contract.
Norwegian striker Haaland (25 years old) continues to be on the Madrid club's radar, even though about a year ago he extended his contract with Manchester City until June 2034.

According to the report, Madrid club president Florentino Perez has not abandoned the idea of creating a Mbappe-Haaland attacking duo.
However, such a move could only become a reality if Vinicius Jr. decides not to renew his current contract, which expires in 2027.
"As long as this situation remains unclear, Real Madrid's leaders will not definitively close the Haaland chapter. The idea of uniting him with Mbappe continues to tempt them greatly, bringing back the 'Galacticos' philosophy of the early 2000s," writes the French media.
If Real Madrid decide to make a move, the Spanish club will have to pay the release clause found in Haaland's new contract.

Although the two players have respect for each other, they don't actually know each other well personally.
Both are sponsored by sports brand 'Nike', but have not yet participated in any joint advertising campaigns.
In fact, according to the report, one of the rare occasions when they were close to each other happened by chance at Le Bourget airport in Paris, where both were traveling on private jets at similar times, but to different destinations.
