Real Madrid shocks the football world, aims to 'abandon' La Liga and move to another league

Real Madrid is considering the possibility of leaving the Spanish championship to move to another league, after major problems with president Javier Tebas and the referees. 

'Los Blancos' are the most successful club in La Liga history, having won their 36th title last season. 

They continue to remain at the top of the table ahead of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona as things stand, but the Madrid fans have remained frustrated with a number of injustices that have been done to them. 

In the 1-1 draw against Osasuna over the weekend, Jude Bellingham was sent off with a red card after some words he said to the referee. 

For those words he said, the Englishman risks a severe punishment of 12 matches if the case is proven. 

Now according to a report from the Spanish newspaper SPORTSReal Madrid see Tebas as their number one enemy, believing he is using the club to his advantage and leading a campaign against them.

Fans on social media have called on the club to leave the league due to the situation, and the report adds that the club could seek asylum in the Bundesliga, Serie A or Ligue 1. 

Carrying out this process would be quite complicated as it would first require approval from FIFA, as well as the green light from La Liga to facilitate the departure of perhaps their biggest club. 

Real Madrid would also have to get approval from UEFA, which would be a difficult step considering that they are the team that is pushing forward with the creation of the European Super League.Telegraph/
