Real Madrid has chosen the coach who will replace Ancelotti if he is sacked

Real Madrid have chosen Carlo Ancelotti's replacement, according to the latest reports from Spain.

Ancelotti has been in charge of Los Blancos in his second spell at the club since 2021. He previously managed the club between 2013 and 2015.

He won the Champions League in his first term and despite being sacked, he was reappointed as coach for a second time by president Florentino Perez.

This second period has been very successful for him, as Ancelotti has won two Champions League titles and won the championship as many times.

This season has had a mixed bag of results for Madrid. They are second in La Liga behind Atletico Madrid, but have lost two games against Barcelona in two different competitions.

In the Champions League, meanwhile, Real has won only three of the six matches played and is still not sure of further qualification.

This has led to several rumors surrounding Ancelotti's future, with Real Madrid known to be a club that sacks the manager if they fail to win trophies.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, his replacement has already been identified.

Former Real boss Santiago Solari was present for the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield and has reportedly been told by management to be ready should they decide to part ways with Ancelotti.

Solari previously managed Real Madrid from October 2018 to March 2019, losing eight of his 32 games in charge before being sacked.

He did, however, maintain contact with the club after his departure, playing for them between 2000 and 2005./Telegraph/
