Ranieri speaks after winning against Inter, risking the title, reveals who the victory cost him

After the 1-0 victory over Inter, Roma coach Claudio Ranieri gave an interview, where he dedicated the triumph to the Roma fans.

The victory returned Napoli to the top with 74 points, while Inter, after two consecutive losses, is second with 71 points.

Roma now has 60 points in sixth place, increasing their chances of a Champions League spot.

"We dedicate this victory to our fans. They couldn't come and we really wanted to make them proud. We wanted to win and we came here with the desire and determination to win."

"I think the first 30 minutes were very good. After all, we were playing against Inter, so of course they adapted later, but we acted very cohesively, trying to cover all the opportunities they tried to create."

"I'm very happy for the fans and for the players - for the sacrifices they make. It wasn't easy: we've never beaten a top team before, and here we won against an opponent whose strength is well known."

"So we are really happy. But now we have to move on. Ahead is Fiorentina, and we are already thinking about this match. It is also a good team," Ranieri declared. /Telegraph/
