Rama responds to Vučić: His nightmare is called Kosovo

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to accusations by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who claimed that Albania, Kosovo and Croatia are creating a "military alliance" against Serbia.
In an interview with the Turkish daily Türkiye Today, Rama rejected these claims, describing them as unfounded fears related to Serbia's stance towards Kosovo.
"President Vučić is someone with good knowledge and intuition, but he has his own nightmare: that is Kosovo. That's it. Period," Rama declared.
According to him, when this "nightmare" affects political emotions, it can also lead to statements that do not make sense.
“This is another scream in the nightmare… Serbia has a much stronger agreement with Croatia than this,” Rama said, dismissing the claim of a military alliance against Belgrade.
The Albanian Prime Minister added that the solution for Serbia is to accept the new reality in the region.
"I always say: cut the rope, let it go. By letting it go, your nightmare will end... Not letting go of something that has gone becomes a nightmare," Rama said.
He also reaffirmed Albania's support for Kosovo, emphasizing that its independence is an irreversible process and that any serious threat to Kosovo would directly affect Albania./Telegrafi.
