Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has commented on the decision of the Special Court, which did not allow former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi to participate in tomorrow's funeral ceremony of his father, Haxhi Thaçi, who died last night.
Rama wrote on the X platform that this is a new low point from a court that has turned international justice into a joke.
"A new low from a shameful and shameless court that has turned international justice into a joke, democratic rights into empty words, and the goodwill of the Kosovo Assembly into the most brutal boomerangs," he wrote.
The KLA War Veterans Organization has also reacted against the Special Police's decision.
Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former President Hashim Thaçi, died late Sunday. Tomorrow, starting in the morning in Skenderaj, there will be a tribute and a commemorative meeting, which will be held at 12:00. Meanwhile, the funeral of former President Thaçi's father will take place at 15:00, in the village of Burojë in Skenderaj.
