The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, held an important meeting today with Jeremy Long, Deputy Director in the Office of Central European Affairs at the US Department of State.

Rama announced that at the meeting he presented Pristina's vision for the next four years, emphasizing the current challenges that, according to him, the Kosovo Government is causing through the continuous blocking of the capital's budget.

He said that the talks also focused on opportunities to attract American investment, especially in the context of preparations for the 2030 Mediterranean Games.

According to Rama, alternative energy and large development projects are areas where cooperation with American investors can bring concrete benefits.

Rama also announced that the municipality will soon organize a special conference to present new investment opportunities in Pristina, with the aim of creating new international partnerships.
