Rama on the figure of Christopher Hill: You have left a mark on all those who know you

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered a speech today during the presentation of the book by American diplomat Christopher Hill.
Rama said that Hill has left a mark on all those who know him, thanking him for what he has done.
"I wonder how someone can do the job of being the most important person in the country, let alone being an American ambassador. Being an American ambassador to Albania is the best job after being president in America. With a lot of distance, with a lot of care when listening. I had the opportunity to know him much later than he knew me, and that's the good thing about Americans because you may not know them but they know you. It's not easy everywhere like it is in Albania."
"I would just like to thank the rector and everyone else who did me this honor to give me the opportunity to share some of my thoughts at this event. I have not read the book, but I will read it and speak publicly about it. If you come back and are interested in a longer conversation about the book, I would be happy to have a conversation and tease you with some questions. Let me conclude with a quote that is here and is selected. Chris, thank you very much for what you have tried to do, it is up to you to decide how successful you are. You have left marks on everyone who has met you," Rama said, Tch reports.
