Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared footage from the winning project for the construction of the Besim Park.

The project was carried out by the world-renowned studio BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), which was announced the winner on Sunday after a competition in which twelve international companies participated.


Rama, in his post on social networks, emphasizes that with this project, he adds another unique destination of international architecture to our country and beyond.

Twelve international architectural studios from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy were shortlisted for the project. Of the twelve finalist companies, five were selected and in the end, the jury chose the Danish company “Bjarke Ingels Group” as the winner.

The Prime Minister, present at the ceremony held to announce the winner, said that the process has been "the most complex, the most emotional and the most complicated so far."

The Prime Minister emphasized the desire to realize more similar parks in the future and highly appreciated the contribution of all competitors.

The Faith Park, conceived as a symbolic space of religious coexistence and cultural harmony, is expected to be an iconic work that will enrich the landscape and spiritual identity of the country. The project has been praised for its comprehensive, innovative approach and for the way it gives life to the coexistence between nature, man and faiths.

The Faith Park is expected to become one of the most important points for promoting coexistence and diversity in Albania, reflecting the unique values ​​of interfaith tolerance that characterize our country. /Telegraph/
