Rama: New government, concrete work - not rhetoric

The Mayor of Pristina, Perparim Rama, has commented on the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly and the voting of the new Kurti 3 Government, emphasizing the importance of these steps for consolidating the democratic functioning of the country.
"The constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the Government are important steps for the democratic functioning of the country. We hope that the new institutions will be created with responsibility and cooperation, focusing on the public interest and the well-being of citizens," Rama wrote on the social network Facebook.
He emphasized the need for sustainable development and functional institutions: "Our society needs sustainable development, functional institutions and a culture of cooperation that meets the standards of a modern democracy."
The mayor of the capital also demanded concrete work and institutional responsibility from the new Government: "As the Capital, we expect concrete work, institutional responsibility and cooperation from this government, more than rhetoric, especially after the unsatisfactory experiences from the previous mandate. The time requires seriousness, vision and real commitment in the service of the common good," Rama concluded.
This reaction comes a few days after the vote of the Kurti 3 Government by the deputies of the Kosovo Assembly, which received 66 votes in favor, 49 against and no abstentions, marking the beginning of the third mandate of Prime Minister Albin Kurti. /Telegrafi/
