Haxhi Thaçi, father of former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, has passed away at the age of 86.
The news of his passing has affected many political figures and citizens of Kosovo and beyond.
As a sign of condolence, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, reacted with a touching message on social media.
"Father left proud, Hashim," Rama wrote, expressing his support for former President Thaçi, who is currently facing trial in The Hague.
It is expected that tributes will be paid in the coming days and the funeral ceremony will take place in his hometown. /Telegraph/
