Euronews Albania has learned the messages that Prime Minister Rama left to the Tirana district deputies during the closed-door meeting held at the pink headquarters this Friday.

The Prime Minister has requested that the municipality of Tirana have a division into 4 main pillars to scan the situation, which include: public spaces, parking lots, services, and construction permits.

Sources for Euronews Albania indicate that a preliminary division of work has been made according to issues, where Ogerta Manastirliu and Anuela Ristani will head the group for public spaces, Blendi Gonxhja and Enton Punavija will be in charge of traffic issues, Arbjan Mazniku and Anuela Ristani will be in charge of municipal resources, and ministers Petrit Malaj and Delina Ibrahimaj will be in charge of finance issues.

Regarding the elections in the Tirana municipality, Rama is reported to have said that "we are not doing this to think about whether there will be elections or not, but because the citizens trusted us."

Since February 10, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has been in prison and the municipality is under command leadership.
