Radio Television of Kosovo workers have announced a one-hour strike today, from 11:00 to 12:00, in the RTK yard, due to delayed salaries and, as they emphasize, the underestimation of their work.
The SPERTK announcement to staff states that this is the 17th day without pay for RTK employees.
"A one-hour strike is taking place today, from 11:00 to 12:00, in the RTK yard. We request full participation and support from all RTK employees, from all units and departments," the announcement states.
The aim of the strike, according to the announcement, is to protect their professional dignity and rights.
"The goal of this strike is just and necessary: to not accept the underestimation of our work and our professional rights," the SPERTK announcement further emphasizes.
SPERTK adds that this is a massive invitation for all workers to come together and show unity.
"Our unity is our strength. All media are also invited to follow the strike and inform the public about our legitimate demands. For our rights. For our professional dignity." /Telegrafi/
