Prishtina and Llapi, big showdown in the Kosovo Cup final

The grand final of the Kosovo Cup for the 2024/25 edition will take place on Thursday, May 22, and will bring a fiery confrontation between the two most successful teams of recent years in this competition - Prishtina and Llapi.

Prishtina, the most trophy-winning club with 8 trophies won (1994, 2006, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2023), will aim to add another title to its archive after the dramatic loss in last year's final to Balkan after penalties.

On the way to the final, Prishtina has successfully eliminated four opponents: TOP Futbolli, Suhareka, Vëllaznim and in the semi-finals Drita – showing form and consistency.

On the other hand, Llapi, who has won the Kosovo Cup twice in a row in 2021 and 2022, returns to the final with clear ambitions for the third trophy in history.

Llapi has overcome difficult obstacles by eliminating Flamurtari, Vushtrri, Malisheva and then Drenica in the semifinals.

This match is expected to be a true football spectacle between two teams that not only have a rich history in this competition, but also passionate fans and quality players who have proven themselves during the season.
